I plan on a metal roof on my house what are the benefits?
It depends on the climate of your building occupies. They are great in winter because the snow will not accumulate on them. They are more durable than asphalt shingles, they look nice and they can be relatively inexpensive. As Beverly (architect) states, moisture can be a problem with metal roofs because it can be with the rooftops. Roofs metal are not "sweat", but that act as condensation surfaces due to temperature. Use a good underlay on top of the terrace on the roof – the problem is solved.
