im moving to the U.S. in July, and im 18, im moving to Florida with my parents, but I want to go to NY to live with my aunt, my plan is callling my aunt and tell him if I can stay with her for a month or 2 until I get a job and enough money to get my own apartment (it's like im asking for it), and plus, I'll pay my own supplies, such as food, clothing, etc. etc. (the only thing they give me a roof, and that's it) until I get a job i only $ 600 saved, I do not have that costs a lot because I have tons of clothes and I really do not eat much, then yes, my goal to stay with my aunt is if I can get a job and find me an apartment, and I want out of the house of my parents because I take it anymore where do you think?
well, you can find a job (I'm not saying it will be easy, but you can do) – just for the first time in six months consider living with your aunt. rental apt NY on your own is quite complicated, even for people who have established work history there. you must have a steady job with pay for certain After 3 months of rent to be seriously considered. Another option is to find roommates. if it was me, I would ask for aunt stay of 6 months and for the first two months will only look for work. you are very brave to take this adventure but hey it might work for you. take care and good luck.
